Martin Luther King Gymnasium (building no. 6)
When and Where: The fencing school meets at 7:00 P.M. on Tuesday evenings at the Martin Luther King gymnasium in Sausalito.
Novice Program: Registration in the novice program for beginning fencers is open throughout the year. The program consists of three ten-week units of individual instruction. At the conclusion of the novice program graduates move on to enjoy fencing with other members of the school as advanced fencers.
Advanced fencers are free to bout throughout the evening. Individual lessons for advanced fencers are available at the conclusion of the evening's instruction for novices.
Fencing Lesson at Sausalito's Martin Luther King Gym
Fees: A floor fee of $8 is required of fencers who simply drop in to fence. Registration in the novice program for Sausalito residents is $120 for each ten week period and includes floor fee, equipment, and instruction. For those residing outside Sausalito the fee is $130. Novices are not required to register for all three periods.
